Tip of the week: stop paying for work your software can already do
Small recurring tasks quietly cost SMEs hundreds of hours a year; a targeted automation step can quickly reduce that.
Stop paying for work your software can already do
Much of the time lost in businesses isn't found in big projects, but in small, daily recurring tasks: retyping a customer's details, manually drafting a quote, forwarding an email, or gathering data from different systems for a report.
Why this matters
Suppose five employees each spend 15 minutes a day on work that could be automated. That adds up to 75 minutes a day, roughly 25 hours a month, and about 300 hours a year — without even accounting for the errors, duplicated work, or delays that often come on top of that.
Get started this week
1. Ask your team. Which three tasks do employees repeat most often?
2. Assess each process. Can this be automated without losing quality or control?
3. Start small. Think of automatic data processing, smart CRM integrations, document recognition, or an AI assistant that gathers and prepares information.
4. Measure the impact. Automating just one well-chosen process can already bring noticeably more peace of mind and capacity.
You don't need to overhaul the entire organization right away. Start with the process that causes the most frustration or wasted time, and build from there.
