Account manager (freelance)
You bring AI automation to the table at SMEs, from first conversation to signed core session.
Ubert is growing and more enquiries are coming in than we can currently follow up on. That is why we are looking for a self-employed account manager who genuinely understands small and medium-sized businesses: no scripts, no cold mass mailings, but conversations with business owners about where their working day goes. You are often the first face of Ubert, so honesty and clear explanation matter more than a quick win. You work independently, but never alone: you have a direct line to the people who build.
What you do
- You talk to owners and directors of SMEs and find out where time is leaking away in their business.
- You explain what AI can and cannot do, without exaggerating. If it is not a fit, you say so.
- You guide the step from free AI scan to intro call to core session.
- You keep your own pipeline up to date in our portal, so everyone can see where a lead stands.
- You sit in on the core session if the customer is comfortable with that, so you know what is being delivered.

- Experience selling to business owners, not to purchasing departments.
- You can explain technology to someone who knows nothing about it, without becoming condescending.
- You are willing to walk away from a deal when it is not a fit. With us that is a plus, not a minus.
- Native-level Dutch and your own car or other transport to visit customers.
Nice to have, not required
- Experience in the installation trades, wholesale, transport or business services.
- Your own network among SMEs.
Your first assignment
You start with a defined territory or a handful of incoming leads from the AI scan. In the first weeks you follow those up by phone, schedule intro calls and join one core session, so you see with your own eyes what we deliver and what you are talking about. After that, we decide together how far you scale it up.
Pay
A fixed fee per period for the agreed territory work, plus commission per signed contract for services. The amount depends on your experience and on the size of the territory you take on; we set it out in advance in a contract for services, including when commission is earned.
The honest bit
- You do not get a ready-made list of appointments. Leads come in through the site and the scan, but you will also have to pick up the phone yourself.
- We do not sell subscriptions you close in a single conversation. A project starts with a core session, and that costs the customer money before anything is built. That takes explaining.
Payment within fourteen days, no exclusivity, your own equipment and insurance, and you may send a replacement. All the agreements are set out under how we work with self-employed professionals.
How it works

Klikt het, dan starten we met een eerste, afgebakende opdracht op een opdrachtovereenkomst. Bevalt het van twee kanten, dan bouwen we het uit.
Herken je jezelf in het grootste deel, maar niet in alles? Reageer toch. We zoeken geen afvinklijstje, we zoeken iemand die past bij hoe we werken. Twijfel je of een rol iets voor je is, mail of bel dan gerust eerst — dat is geen sollicitatie, gewoon even overleggen.
