Our grants partner reviews schemes and funding for every project and supports you with the application. Not always successful, but more often than you'd think.
Why we do it this way
Why do we sort out compliance before the build and not after? Because repairing afterwards is more expensive than recording up front, and because a customer who asks how you handle their data deserves an answer that is correct. We do the grant check up front too: many schemes require an application before the start.
What we often see go wrong
- Sorting out compliance only once the system is already running: then every change is more expensive than recording it up front.
- Assuming that “lowest risk class” means nothing is required: transparency and basic AI knowledge almost always apply.
- Looking at grants only after the start: many schemes require an application before the first invoice.

€110 per hour for straightforward work, €165 per hour for complex development — which hour carries which rate is fixed in advance. Always on a project basis, with a fixed number of hours per month and an AI budget for licences agreed up front.
The core session costs €149 per hour; a half-day of 4 hours is therefore €596, plus travel costs (€0.45 per kilometre). More hours only with your written approval. If we cannot deliver, you pay nothing for what was not delivered. All amounts exclude VAT.

Are you lawyers?
No, we are engineers. For the legal part we work with specialists from our network; we make sure that what they record is also technically correct — logs, access, checkpoints.
What does the grant check cost?
The check itself is a standard part of every build project. We agree up front what support with an application costs; that is stated in the proposal.
Do we have to document anything ourselves for the EU AI Act?
Usually a short description of the application, the risk class, who is responsible and how human oversight is arranged. We supply that documentation with every project, so you don't have to figure it out yourself.
