Why a mainstream stack and documentation for everything we build? Because custom-built software only has value if it stays transferable — as ownership or as a licence, which we agree up front. No exotic technology that only one party understands, but code that another good developer can take over. That's not a favour, that's the deal.
What we often see go wrong
- Building on an exotic stack that only one party understands: then you are dependent, even without anyone wanting that.
- Doing everything in code that could also be done in no-code — or the other way round: the choice should be made per component.
- Starting without fixed hours and short cycles: then “we're almost done” becomes a habit.

€110 per hour for straightforward work, €165 per hour for complex development — which hour carries which rate is fixed in advance. Always on a project basis, with a fixed number of hours per month and an AI budget for licences agreed up front.
The core session costs €149 per hour; a half-day of 4 hours is therefore €596, plus travel costs (€0.45 per kilometre). More hours only with your written approval. If we cannot deliver, you pay nothing for what was not delivered. All amounts exclude VAT.

Who owns the code?
We agree that up front and it is stated in the proposal. If you take ownership of the system, you get code and documentation on a mainstream stack, so that another good developer can take it over. If you take it as a licence, you pay for usage and can cancel.
How do you prevent it from becoming a never-ending project?
With a fixed number of hours per month, invoicing every two weeks and building in short cycles. Extra hours only come with your written approval. That way you know where you stand every two weeks.
How soon is a first version ready?
We build in short cycles, so you see results along the way instead of only at the end. One integration or workflow: usually a few weeks. Your own platform: a few months, in steps that are each usable on their own.
