In practice: a visit can happen the same week. Travel time is not an obstacle here, and travel costs stay a small line on your invoice.
The honest caveat: two days a week is not the same as always available. Nobody is standing by to reach your doorstep within the hour, and the other days we are in Bussum or with clients elsewhere. So you book an appointment — you just rarely wait weeks for it.

What kind of companies sit in the Eindhoven region
Eindhoven is a technical region, and you hear it in who calls. Machine builders, precision machining shops, metal and plastics processors, electronics assemblers, and suppliers working for a handful of large customers. Alongside them: installation engineering, engineering consultancies and maintenance firms with field crews on the road every day.

The complaints we hear in this region are rarely about strategy. They are about this:
- Job sheets and timesheets. Engineers hand them in on paper, as a photo or through an app. On Friday afternoon someone retypes them, and the invoice goes out a week late.
- Quotations and cost calculations. A request arrives as an email with a drawing or bill of materials; someone works through it and types the calculation out again. That is half a day, and most quotations are never won.
- Delivery notes and order confirmations. Every supplier uses its own layout, so they are compared with your order by hand and retyped between systems; discrepancies surface after the goods arrive.
- Quality and inspection reports. Collecting measurement reports and certificates, renaming them, filing them per order. Manual work that cannot be missing when your customer asks.
- Questions about lead times. A customer calls wanting to know when something ships; the answer sits in three systems and in the work planner’s head.
What AI automation means here in practice
For us it comes down to reading documents and connecting systems that do not know each other exists. A bill of materials becomes a draft calculation, so your estimator checks instead of retypes. Approved job sheets flow into invoicing on their own. Order confirmations are matched against your own purchase order, and only the discrepancies reach a person.
What we do not do: put an AI assistant on your website and call that automation. And we do not build on top of a process nobody has agreed internally.
For suppliers there is a further point: drawings and specifications from your client cannot pass through an arbitrary service. We settle that up front — a dull solution that survives an audit beats a fast one that does not.

- Running costs: what the AI models and connected services cost per month once it is live. We work that through with you beforehand.
Where it goes wrong at technical companies
Four things come back again and again here. None of them is about AI.
- Data that does not add up. Three part numbers for one component, customers entered twice, dimensions buried in a free-text field. Cleaning up is dull manual work and often the bulk of the first few weeks.
- An ERP package that keeps its door shut. No open interface, or one released only on a pricier subscription. We check that before building; sometimes a different process should go first.
- Starting with the hardest process. Calculation is tempting, because that is where the hours are. But a mistake in a quotation costs money and trust. Start where a mistake is visible and repairable.
- No owner on the shop floor. The project disappears behind the day job, and this is the most common cause. Our being nearby helps, but someone on your side still has to decide.
